This is the third time I am coming to you.
The heart of the Lord is revealed here in this letter. Like a heart to heart talk, a concerned parent with his child, you started off so well, but now we have reports of a lot of carnal activity within the body. Infighting and lawsuits, division, as well as sexual misconduct, improprieties at the communion table, lack of the desire to share with the less fortunate... all add to the Lord's disappointment. More as a warning to us, no, we don't have it all figured out, but He wants us to carry on in the Spirit, not turning, not seeking our own will or desires, but to continue hand in hand with our Lord who promised never to leave us or forsake us. Yes, we cannot comprehend all things, but we leave our lives in the hands of Jesus.

Calvary Chapel has been formed as a fellowship of believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our supreme desire is to know Christ and to be conformed to His image by the power of the Holy Spirit. We are not a denominational Church, nor are we opposed to denominations as such, only to their overemphasis of the doctrinal differences that have led to the division of the Body of Christ.
We believe that the only true basis of Christian fellowship is God's agape love which is greater than any differences we posses, and without which we have no right to claim ourselves to be Christians.
We believe worship of God should be spiritual. Therefore we remain flexible and yielded to the Holy Spirit to direct our worship.
We believe worship of God is always fruitful. Therefore we look for His love in our lives as the supreme manifestation that we have truly been worshiping Him.
We believe worship of God should be inspirational. Therefore we give great place to music in our worship.
We believe worship of God should be intelligent. Therefore our services are designed with great emphasis upon teaching the Word of God -the Bible- that He might instruct us as to how He would be worshiped.
